Who is responsible
HumanAmp is owned and operated by Problemsmith Ltd, which is responsible for the information covered by this notice. Problemsmith Ltd is registered in England and Wales under company number 16795336. Its registered office is New Farm Cottage, Tixall, Stafford, England, ST18 0XU.
If you have a question about your information, email lee@problemsmith.com or write to us at the registered office.
What we collect
If you email us or use Goose, our AI enquiry assistant, we receive your name, organisation, contact details and anything you choose to tell us about the situation or work you have in mind.
Like most websites, our hosting provider receives basic technical information needed to deliver and protect the site. This can include an IP address, browser and device information, requested pages and the time of a request.
How Goose uses AI
Goose asks a short set of questions so your enquiry reaches Lee or Dave with useful context. Your answer about the business situation is sent through Netlify’s AI Gateway to OpenAI to prepare a short handover. Your name, email address and telephone number are not included in that AI request.
You can read and change the handover before sending it. The suggested route is only guidance: Goose does not make a final decision about whether HumanAmp responds or works with someone. Lee or Dave remain responsible for that.
Please do not put confidential, sensitive or personal information into the description of your situation.
Why we use it
- To reply to you and take steps you ask us to take before working together.
- To manage business conversations and any work we agree with you.
- To operate, protect and understand the basic performance of the website.
- To keep records where the law requires us to.
Depending on the situation, our lawful basis is taking steps before or performing a contract, complying with a legal obligation, or our legitimate interest in running HumanAmp and responding to genuine business enquiries.
Who it may be shared with
We use trusted providers for email, website hosting, enquiry storage and the systems needed to run the business. Netlify hosts the site, stores Goose submissions and provides the AI Gateway used to prepare the handover. OpenAI processes the limited business-situation text used for that handover. We only share information where it is needed for the service. We may also share information with professional advisers or public authorities where there is a legal reason to do so. We do not sell personal information.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry information only while it is useful for the conversation or a reasonable follow-up. If we work together, we keep the records needed to deliver the work and meet legal, accounting and professional obligations. We review information and remove it when there is no continuing reason to keep it.
Cookies and third parties
This version of the site does not use analytics, advertising or marketing cookies, and it does not intentionally store cookies on your device.
The site loads its typefaces from Google Fonts. This means your browser connects to Google when a page loads and sends the technical information needed to provide the font. The website and video are delivered through Netlify. Their own privacy information explains how they handle data as service providers.
If we add non-essential cookies or tracking later, we will update this notice and add the appropriate choices before they are used.
Your choices and rights
You can ask what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, object to or restrict some uses, or ask for a copy in a portable form where the law applies. Email lee@problemsmith.com and we will help.
If you are concerned about how we use your information, please contact us first. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.
